Our involvement in the alliance takes concrete form. Ivan Gašperec, partner at Nomus Law Firm, serves as Vice President of the Business Alliance of Slovakia. He uses his professional expertise to actively shape the legal framework and business rules that support long-term stability and growth of the business environment in Slovakia.
PAS represents a unique alliance of entrepreneurs and the third sector with the aim of improving both formal and informal business rules. Unlike lobbying organizations, it advocates for the interests of the entire business sector, not just individual companies. Its activities are based on the principles of ethics, openness, integrity, solidarity, and legality. PAS is guided by its values and acts transparently with the goal of enhancing the business environment for all market participants.
PAS works to ensure that the business environment is clear, functional, and predictable. It strives to make regulatory institutions operate efficiently and to ensure that decisions by the government and public authorities reflect a long-term vision for the country’s development that goes beyond individual political cycles. Promoting PAS’s main goal—improving the business environment—is not an end in itself. Appropriate conditions for business are essential for expanding economic activities and fostering the country’s prosperity.
